insomnia sucks

I hate that I can't sleep. I wake up coughing and then can't fall back asleep, but you can't really begin your day at 4am, can you? Well, I guess you can, but really, who wants to do that?

Last night, we watched The Cave. I love watching bad, cheesy movies. Nothing better than curling up with a loved one to laugh at bad acting and cheesy plot lines. It was a bit better than the Sci-Fi channel flicks we usually watch, but not by much.lol

This weekend will hopefully find us busy. Josh says he'll make a bookcase for Bub's room and one for the VCR tapes in the playroom today. Then I get to paint them. I would love to finish tiling the kitchen floor, but I won't hold my breath. Josh keeps saying we'll do it next weekend. He start saying that last April. I need to clean out the playroom too. I swear, I think toys and dirty laundry procreate in the wee hours of morning. Tomorrow the kids want to go to church, so we'll probably do that.

What I really want to do is go out as a family and see a movie and go out to eat. That isn't happening because we are beyond broke and he doesn't get paid for another 2 weeks. It's really hard to survive on what he is being paid, but me going back to work isn't really a viable option for reasons I won't go into here. The last time we did a real grocery trip was back in October. Since then, it's just been milk and bread runs. We've been living off what family gives us and the pantry. It could always be worse. It just sucks that we are too poor to live w/o support but he makes too much for any assisstance. It's freakin' ridiculous.

I know I'm rambling but I'm really tired and my famil will be up in an hour or less, so i better put on my game face and start figuring out what to make for breakfast. yay.
