Leave it to my kid

to be allergic to allergy medicine. Charlie, that is. I honestly didn't know it was possible, but he is. He is on prednisone for the angry rash(he had before the zyrtec but made 100X worse with) he has which is most likely allergy related as well. Heaven only knows what though. I don't think it's grass related because the rash is everywhere but I'm not ruling anything out. Our next step is an allergist and dermatologist. Which means long drives into the city. Yay.

Oh, and the doctor thinks Maddie has Reynaud's disease. It actually explains quite a bit about her and the way she is always cold and kind of tingly/sore. Her doctor actually told her she was the youngest child he has seen with these symptoms, so of course she is proud of being a record breaker. Oy.

Then over the weekend, we fenced in part of our front yard to become our backyard. The dogs are loving that. We still have to buy more fencing so we can get rid of the ugly chainlink, but so far it looks good. We are putting up the deck this weekend. I am sooooo excited about that. It'll still be a while before we get the door put in, but I can deal. Oh, and Josh brought home a new buddy, a papillion puppy he named Gizmo. This was his way of fulfilling that baby brain I've been having. It's not what I had in mind at all.

That's been that past few days for me in a nutshell. How was your weekend?
