Another busy weekend/week at Chez S.

Trina had her repeat bloodwork done on Tuesday with us going to the doctor Wednesday to discuss the results. Luckily, even though her white blood count is still low, it's not "critically low"(Doctor's exact words) like it was last time. Plus she gained back 6 pounds in the two weeks between visits. Apparently he was pretty worried. To the point where he was going to start testing for Leukemia if her wbc had stayed around 2. But it didn't and she is back to being Trina so worrying over that is pointless.

Maddie had her birthday parties last weekend and they were hugely successful, of course. She and her friends had fun painting their hair and being punk. They claim they were up until 3am but I don't know. Then Saturday was the family party and everybody came and had some cake. I bake a mean cake. People drive over 60 miles for my cake. Okay, really they come for these guys, but I can pretend.

CHarlie had not been feeling well this week. So for the past two nice days we had this week, I was stuck home with a sick kid. And today isn't much better. Today it is turning cold and nasty and I have a new sick kid home, Maddie. Which is really unfortunate. Tonight is the first slumber party she's been invited to that she was actually going to attend. She is really bummed. I feel for her but I can't do that to someone who has 3 kids. So her weekend is ruined. Poor kid.

I love the blue streak.

The Wiz has low WBCs periodically, but we know why. It is pretty scary though, because they are so prone to getting sick with bacterial nasties when that happens.

Hope Maddie feels better soon. I'm sorry about the snow you are probably getting.

I'm wishing that it would STOP RAINING!
