I guess it takes practice.

Actually mixing and cutting out the pieces didn't seem all that difficult. I just didn't take into account some pieces shrinking more than expected, and some not shrinking at all. Wugherty. Oh well. It is the first time I have even attempted gingerbread houses, so I refuse to admit failure. Plus, the kids had so much fun making a huge mess without Mommy having a freak-out session. Well, really I did, but I maintained really well. lol
Obligatory pictures to follow.

M's class made "gingerbread" houses out of graham crackers. He had fun that way.

I'm NEVER going to make a gingerbread house--too much work. Especially since I can't eat any of the gingerbread.

I'm glad the kids had fun.
