that I am going to teach myself to quilt. I have so many of the kids' outgrown clothes that I can't bear to part with* that I have decided this is the most practical way of keeping these clothes, since I have no room for more totes. It will wind up looking like a 4th grader sewed it, but that's okay. Everyone has to begin somewhere, right?
*you know, the cute plaid pants that have been worn so many times the knees are just thread, the boy's favorite t-shirts, etc. I just hope this isn't another project I start and then get meh about.

You should see the first scarves I knit. They are definitely not pretty. Quilting sounds like a great way to preserve those clothes of which you have fond memories. Good luck!
