I know, I know!!

I haven't updated in quite a while. Life is going at us 90 to nothing and we haven't had much down time. Let's do a quick review over the past month.

End of April, my baby turned 6. SHe had a really cool luau party that all of her friends enjoyed. She was very specific about how she wanted things and at least once a year, I try to cater to the kids' every whim. So these cupcakes were her favorite. I'm just glad I could give her what she wanted. Contrary to popular belief, I like to see my kids smile. ;)

Maddie was still playing soccer up until the second weekend in May. SHe got a trophy and was MVP in 4 of their games. She is just so incredibly athletic. We even had an opposing coach tell us he wanted to wrap a chain or rope around her legs to keep her from moving so fast around the field. That kind of made MY head swell. lol She has been having softball practices for her tournament team all year, but they started in earnest back in April. Now she has rec softball and tourney softball. She even missed her brother's family birthday party because she didn't want to miss practice. If anything she is committed. Though by the end of the summer, I may be committed. Yikes.

Charlie started his second year of baseball. He is pretty good when he puts his mind to it. He likes to show off, but then what almost 8yo doesn't? For his birthday, we are taking him and 2 of his friends to see the Indiana Jones movie and some cake and ice cream. He wants to do a sleep over, too. We will see on that one. Here is a picture of him and me at Noah's baptism. Ignore my chunky legs.

I did get to go on field trips with Charlie and Maddie, respectively. Charlie's was SIdeways Stories from the Wayside School play. He really enjoyed it and we got to ride the glass elevator at Crown Center. Our town doesn't even have an escalator so they were all excited over that.

Maddies was field day at the K. In other words, the Royals game. I think they won, I know they were doing really well before we had to leave. She had a blast and we were both hoarse the next day from yelling so loud.

We also got to see quite a bit of family at Noah's baptism. It was really nice to see everybody and getting to hold Noah really made me miss having a baby to take care of. Josh thinks I'm sick in the head. ;p

ANd today is the last day of school for the monkeys. As soon as they get off the bus, they will be crazy and my house will be full of kids I did not give birth to. I think I should charge their parents. Ayup.

Oh, one last thing. I chopped even more of my hair off. As of yet, I have no pics, but I love it. I haven't had a headache since and I don't have it on my neck because it isn't long enough for a pony. I'm very happy with it.

Okay, I'm done. Drive on through.

We just finished soccer. The Wiz's team really improved. Game Boy's team came in second in the tournament. This was his second time being in a championship game.

So, for our first weekend with no soccer, we're going to Pat's wedding.

And trying to get the house ready to sell.

AAAAAHHHHH! I definitely feel your pain.
