We have every waking moment tied up in softball and swimming. Charlie decided that baseball is not his sport, or at least not one he wants to play on a team, so my week isn't quite as hectic as it once was. Now it's just softball on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and darn near every weekend.
She loves playing catcher so much. Her ambition is to be the best catcher on KU's softball team. I'd love to see her accomplish that.Katrina is Katrina.
I don't know how she does it, but she can wrap people she has just met around any one of her little fingers. If you know Trina, you know her nickname is Bean Dip and why that has become her moniker. Well, one of the dads of a teammate of Maddie's is just taken with her. Surprise, surprise. He brings her a little container of bean dip and doritos for her almost every tournament. I think she bewitches people. Poor Charlie is bored out of his mind. I think he would be beyond thrilled if he never had to go to another softball game in his life. So in the future, I think I am going to let him skip a few with Daddy and go fishing out on the boat. It's where a boy and his dad belong.
