And I just can't hide it!(did I give anybody an earworm?lol)
We are going to Mississippi to see my bestest friend in the whole wide world. I talk to Amanda every day for hours, but we've only actually met in person once, almost exactly a year ago. We have so much in common, personality-wise, the way we parent, music taste, just about everything. I am completely at ease when i am around her and never feel as if I have to play a part. That is what friendship is all about. I cannot wait to see her four and my three little ones playing together and having fun. I just wish she lived closer.
And this weather...heavenly! There is definitely something to be said about beautiful spring weather. It's fast becoming my favorite season. I do not envy people who have to be cooped up in an office or school on days like today. I completely remember why I skipped school so much in March and April.
Oh, and Charlie's finger is doing great, by the way. He has to be the toughest 5 year old I have ever met. Nothing seems to phaze him. He's pretty excited about this weekend as well. He'll have 3, count 'em, 3 boys to play with. He's definitely not used to that. lol
I keep remembering more things, so this is kind of turning into a random post, or more like rambling. Bear with me. Maddie has mastered the art of riding a 2 wheeler. She is so happy and that makes me so happy. I love to see her puffed up and proud of herself. It's definitely something else to be a parent. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
