And, no, I'm not being sarcastic. These upcoming weeks are fun-filled. Where shall I begin?
Monday, I get to be a parent helper for Katrina's field trip. They are going to my absolute favorite field trip(next to the zoo), Kaleidoscope! I never got to go with Madeline's and Charlie's classes because I always had Katrina and no one to watch her. And my older two pretty much react like I imagine my siblings did when my mom did stuff with me that she couldn't do with them. "oh, it's not fair! You do everything with Katrina! You never do that with us!" I'm a horribly unfair mother who obviously loves one child more than the others, dontcha know. But, this year I am determined to do field trips with all three. Even if that involves me going to a Royals game. Because they are awesome. Yeah. I've already signed up for Charlie's field trip and am anxiously awaiting Mad's form.
Thursday is my 10th wedding anniversary, in case you haven't been paying attention. We aren't doing anything on that day, that I am aware of, but, Friday, my wonderful Aunt is taking the kids and giving us the weekend to ourselves. Ahh, sweet freedom! Josh and I haven't had a date night since we moved here 3 years ago. Matter of fact, Aunt Dorothy is the one who watched the kids that night as well. The kids have spent a weekend with Aunt D. once before and with my folks as well, but that was so Josh and I could do side jobs, so it wasn't "quality" time with my man. Unless you count building a deck and fixing someone's heating and cooling quality time. I, for one, don't.
Then the following weekend, Mad is having her sleepover for her birthday with her two very bestest friends in the whole wide world. This year we are hoping to keep the whole house intact. After the girls leave, we are having the family over for Mad's party. I'm excited because I haven't seen most of these people since Christmas. I really do love my family. So if I have forgotten to email anybody who wants to come. Open invite, but it's just cake and ice cream.

Ah, the joys of having kids. I spend a lot more time with the Wiz than with Game Boy, due to Wiz's health issues. We always spend time going to the zoo and the like when we are there, too, so Wiz ALWAYS gets to do more fun things.
I'll trade you our excitement for yours. We're tired.
Happy anniversary.
Sounds like a fun time! That'll be so nice for Aunt D to take the kids for the weekend! :) Have a great anniversary & fun field trips! :)

Isn't it nice to be able to help out with your children's classes? I was so excited when I was able to start doing that. I've noticed-you either get up really early to post on your blog or you never go to bed!
Mimi
I get up early. The time between Josh leaving for work and the kids getting up is my time.
Party? Will there be cake?
