So it is stilll snowing

Another 10 inches or so. Probably closer to a foot. Yuck. That stupid groundhog just had to see his stupid shadow. BAH!!!!

I've been dealing with sick kids for the past few weeks. Katrina, for the most part, has been the sickie. Last week I missed work because she had tummy issues. (Broccoli is now on the fruit and veggie list of "Don't Eat Raw") On Monday, my boss called. Apparently because I missed last week, I am not a reliable employee. But don't worry, I'm not fired. He's just not going to give me hours anymore. So I asked, "I'm fired?" Oh no, no, no. "Are you asking me to quit?" No, but if you want to go ahead. "So you are just refusing to give me hours?" Yeah, pretty much. I just want someone who will be here when I want them here. The fact that he did it all over the phone was a bonus. I was really angry. I don't need the job. Josh and I have really just been using it to be able to do stuff, like rent movies and video games and pizza nights. Now, I'm still irritated, but I'm no longer frothing at the mouth. Who knows if I even go out and look for something else.

Oh, and I quit smoking about 4 hours before my boss called on Monday. Heck of a day to quit, but it's late Wednesday afternoon and still no smoking. I have had a horrid week with the phone call on Monday, Trina coming home sick from school yesterday, and a blasted snow day, today. Yeah. I'm lovely to be around but at least I don't stink.
