Random thoughts

I'm going to whine a bit, so if you don't want to "hear" it, just move along.

I'm tired of being sick. Ever since we've moved to this town, my allergies have come back full force. I don't know if it's because we've moved to a small town vs. the city where we were. Or if it's from the grain plant that is within walking distance of our house. It emits so much dust that there is no hope for a washed car to stay clean unless you park it in a garage. Or, the worst reason, it is something in the house, whether that's mold or possibly my cats. I really hope it isn't my cats. I've started taking claritin and hope that will help.

It was time for the kids to go to the dentist, so I started calling around looking for one that accepts their insurance. OF COURSE, no one here in town does, or at least they aren't accepting new patients. Idgits. So now I get to yank them out of school for a whole day and drive to another little town over 40 minutes away to go see a dentist at a satellite office. Just what I want. To be in the car with all 3 kids for over an hour and 2o minutes listening to them fight. I think I'll let them take their gameboys. That might keep them quiet for a whole 10 minutes.

Here is a good bit of news. I got Charlie an appointment. I'm not sure what the first appt entails but hopefully C will be in a sharing mood and show the dr why I am worried about him.

Josh is building me a pantry. I am unbelievably excited over that. *clap* It means i won't have crap piled up in the kitchen anymore and it will free up space in my laundry room as well. I will take pictures when it is all said and done. He's a good husband. I am so grateful I married a guy who knows how to fix anything. I have some friends with husbands who cannot tell a phillips from a flathead and I just couldn't live like that. lol

I baked some sugar cookies yesterday. I decorated them with icing and they turned out really well. I did take pics but the computer we upload them on is with the computer geeks at J's school so i'll post them later. Maddie has asked that I make some like them for her to take to school for her birthday. Can you believe my little girl is a month shy of being seven? Inconceivable!!
