I was reading what I have written, and man, I am booooring and very whiny. I apologize for being such a snooze fest. Forgive me?
A good friend of mine has asked me to write down some funny anecdotes about breastfeeding for a book she is compiling. So far I've written about the acrobatic moves where your baby winds up nursing upside down and the time Trina ate a good chunk of my left nipple.
Writing about all of that makes me wistful for the days when my morning wakeup call was a milky grin and baby belly laugh. Even Josh has admitted that he misses the baby smell and the feeling of a baby snuggled up on his chest. I know it's probably because Trina will be 4 in April and becoming more independent every day. She doesn't need me as much as she used to.
On a similar note, I'm considering writing a children's story loosely based on visits to my grandpa's orchard in Nebraska. Some of my favorite childhood memories are there.

Maggie...I bet I'm more boring than you are. You can at least talk about your kids and how funny or cute or whatever they can be. If I talk like that about my cats, I'm just a weird guy.
