With the end of summer vacation

School begins. And I couldn't be happier. I bet you can feel the smile that won't leave my face. :)

Soccer practices begin today, too. This year it's looking like Katrina will play as well. That should be interesting as there will be no shiny gym floor for her to see her reflection in. She'll actually*gasp* have to play.

Speaking of Katrina, she had some more bloodwork done recently because she had some high blood sugar readings. She does in fact NOT have diabetes, but her white blood cell count came back low again. She goes back to the doctor in a month and if she is still not feeling well then we move on to specialists. I wish I knew what was wrong just so we could do something about it. Pray for the little booger, would you?

As a soccer coach of her age group, I say don't count on it! There's all sorts of other things to look at: clouds, the group of parents, the clover on the field. I guarantee she won't be the only one otherwise engaged in alternative activities during the game! :)

You are so lucky that you are starting school. The boys are having the longest summer vacation ever--they got out in May and still don't start for two weeks!

I'll pray for her. In two hours, The Wiz sees his new pediatrician. I just know he lost weight. We need to run some blood work too, and start working on getting him to Seattle.

Ugh. I hate all this stuff.
